These spikes have universal sizes for bottle fittings. You can fit these spikes into used cold drink bottles or water bottles. If these are not fitting to a particular bottle, try changing the bottle.
You can fill the bottle with water and dig the spike with the bottle into the soil. Then adjust the flow of water depending on the weather and requirement of plants.

3. Self Watering Pots: Another good solution is to use self-watering pots. These pots have a separate water reservoir at the bottom of the planter. The water rises through the mesh at the bottom of the planter using the capillary action of the soil.
One added advantage of self-watering pots is that there is no seepage in rooms due to overwatering. The bottom reservoir will store the extra water.
